Common questions
I can't log in
Tap Forgot password on the login screen to reset your password. If you signed in with Apple or Google, use the same provider on the login screen.
My account isn't verified
Check your email inbox (and spam folder) for the verification link. If you don't see it within 10 minutes, request a new one from inside the app or email us.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, posts, and personal data. Some anonymized records may be retained for legal compliance.
How do I change my alias?
Tap your profile icon, then Edit Profile. You can update your alias and avatar at any time.
Reporting content
Tea is built on respect. If you see content that breaks our community guidelines:
- Tap the ••• menu on any post or comment
- Select Report and choose a reason
- Our moderation team reviews every report within 24 hours
Serious violations result in immediate account suspension. Repeat offenders are banned permanently.
Blocking users
To block someone from interacting with you:
- Tap the user's alias to open their profile
- Tap the ••• menu and select Block
Blocked users cannot view your posts, vote on your verdicts, or comment on your stories. You can manage blocked users in Settings → Blocked Users.
Community guidelines
We do not allow:
- Harassment, hate speech, or threats
- Doxxing or sharing personal information
- Sexually explicit or graphic content
- Spam, scams, or impersonation
- Illegal activity or content involving minors
